Riverina Youth.net is the website of the Youth and Children’s ministry of the Riverina Presbytery of the Uniting Church of Australia.

The Riverina Presbytery Youth Committee organises ministry activities with and for young people in the Riverina Presbytery which includes the congregations of Ardlethan, Barellan, Berrigan, Boorowa, Brocklesby, Walbundrie, Rand, Coleambally, Temora, Coolamon, Matong, Marrar, Ganmain, Rannock, Cootamundra, Corowa, Howlong, Culcairn, Henty, Deniliquin, Mayrung, Griffith, Yenda, Binya, Gundagai, Hay, Harden, Binalong, Galong, Holbrook, Hillston, Lockhart, Junee, Lake Cargelligo, Leetin, Whitton, Narrandera, Jerilderie, Tocumwal, Finley, The Rock, Temora, Tumbarumba, Tumut, Wagga Wagga and Young.

It’s a large Presbytery, but through a number of ways we endeavor to minister with and to the young people of the area and work with, train and mentor leaders of congregations in ministry with young people.

We don’t only work with the young people from the UCA, instead we work ecumenically with other denominations in the area as much as we can, all of our camping programs have been working alongside other youth leaders and young people from the CRC, Baptists, Anglicans, Uniting,  Presbyterians and other churches who are working with young people and eager to see them grow up as disciples of Christ.

• Darren Wright is currently employed as the Presbytery Youth and Children’s Ministry Worker.

There are a number of regional Youth Councils within the Presbytery that cover the Central, Southern and Northern areas, each with their own Chair and Secretary, each with a particular focus.
