Amelia Koh Butler, Rob Hanks and Lindsay Cullen from Sydney will be visiting the Riverina on the weekend of the 25th of October for a training event for people interested in ministry of all sorts, with young people, children, young adults, families…

From: 9:30am Start
Finish: 6:00pm Finish
Cost: $5 per head
Bring a plate of food to share for lunch
Coffee, Morning/Afternoon Tea Provided

Workshops will explore models of youth ministry, starting out in youth ministry, preparation ideas for Advent and Christmas, worship, biblical studies and much more. The event is open to anyone who is wanting to explore ministry, mission, worship and much more…

The last event at Narrandera UCA was a great time of people meeting one another and exploring different areas of their ministries, we’ve packed a little more into this one.

Come along, join in on the fun, meet new people, learn new things, hold new conversations…

Workshop Presenters:
Amelia is the director of the ELM Centre (http://elm.org.au) and has many years of experience in ministry and education and providing workshops and support for people in Lay ministry

Lindsay Cullen also works at the ELM Centre (http://elm.org.au) as the Adult Education consultant and brings a number of years experience as a minister in Cowra in the Central West and a number of years in the UK as a theology student.

Rob Hanks is the NSW UCA Youth Unit Coordinator (http://nsw.uca.org.au/boe/youthunit/) and brings with him a number of years in lay and specified Youth Ministry in Newcastle and as the Synod Youth Unit Coordinator. Rob’s passion for storytelling and hearing everyone’s stories really feeds into his ministry and teaching style.

Darren Wright is the youth and children’s ministry worker for the Riverina Presbytery and brings with him experience as a HIgh School Chaplain and youth worker in South Australia and as a regional worker in both the Riverina and the Canberra Presbytery.
