Kids Camp Out 2008 “Ready, Set, Go!”

What is Kids Camp Out?
Kids Camp Out is an inter-denominational camp for children in school years 3 to 6 in the Riverina. It is run by a committee which consists of people from a number of churches and communities including the Uniting Church, Baptist, CRC, Fusion and from all over the Riverina including Narrandera, Griffith, Matong, Ganmain, Wagga Wagga and Barellan

The Aims of Kids Camp Out
1. An event in which leaders can bond with children from their own churches.
2. A chance for children to meet other Christians from their own town and other towns for fellowship and fun.
3. A time for children to consider the claims of Christ for themselves.
4. A way for leaders to give their children a weekend away without having to carry the whole burden of organisation and finance by themselves.
5. A time for leaders to enjoy each others company, gain some new ideas and link up with others in children’s ministries.

The Venue and Date of Kids Camp Out 2008
Kids Camp out will be held at the Narrandera Race Course in Narrandera starting at 1.00pm Saturday 5th April and finishing at approximately 1.00pm Sunday 6th April 2008.

Additional Information
1. Everyone sleeps in tents which are set up in town groups.
2. Each group is responsible for their own catering however it is possible to link up with other groups to share the catering.
3. Each church must provide sufficient leaders to produce a ratio of 1 leader for every 5 children. If this is a problem, other churches within that town may be able to help out, but no church is to send children without providing leadership. For most activities the children will be organised on the basis of these small groups.

Kids Camp Out is a great time away for the leaders and kids and a great opportunity for learning more about Jesus.
