Community Services – YOUTH OFFICER – 12 Month Maternity Leave Position

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and motivated person to join the team at Greater Hume Shire Council in the role of Community Services – Youth Officer

The primary focus of this role will be to undertake youth development activities within Greater Hume Shire Council and Lockhart Shire Councils. The main purpose of the role is to develop, implement and monitor programmes that are aimed at youth development and leadership, as well as providing high level support to the Community Services Manager.

The position is part of Council’s Community Services section and will be based predominately at Council’s Holbrook office. Attractive employment conditions such as an attractive salary and flexible working hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant. This position is a twelve (12) month maternity leave position.
