Just downloaded the cd “Invite Us” by the Solomons Porch community, it’s an interesting collection of community written, performed and recorded tunes.

It’s an interesting collection of 12 tracks for use in worship or played via cd in sacred spaces, or played loudly at home…

“Every year or so our musicians put together a recording of songs that have become part of our collective life at Solomon’s Porch.
They have recently completed a set of songs that come from our Sunday Gatherings. In the past the collections have included music of all sorts from our community.Invite us is a collection of 12 songs written over the last 18 months or so and have become part of Solomon’s Porch “sound track”.

There are another 12 or so songs that didn’t make the CD since it was recorded in on long weekend at Ben’s house.
That’s right, they did the CD in three days in Ben’s living room. Then added in a few tracks of kid singers and adults on the song Invite Us. “
